The Philadelphia Dragon Boat Association recruits and trains new members in the Spring of each year, and accepts veteran paddlers all year long.  Our 2012 season will be a highlighted by the IDBF Club Crew World Championships in Hong Kong, July 4-8, 2012.

We are looking for physically fit recruits of all ages and both genders. We will be happy to teach you how to be a great dragon boat paddler, but expect you to be able to keep up with the physical rigor of our practices from the start. Practices begin and end at the Temple Boathouse docks at the base of the Strawberry Mansion Bridge. Our annual dues are $200, but we don't expect newcomers to pay until they've had several weeks to see if dragon boat racing is really for them.

We will be holding rookie orientations in April, and possibly earlier at the indoor paddle pool.
