2012 is going to be an intense year for the PDBA. We'll be starting practices in early April, and then selecting paddlers to form teams to race at the 8th IDBF Club Crew World Championships in Hong Kong, July 4-8, 2012.
The Philadelphia Dragon Boat Association is going to be making its return to Club Crew World Championships for the first time since 2006, going back to where Team USA won its first Gold Medal in 1997. We'll be racing Senior Open, Senior Mixed, as well as Premier Open and Mixed. The race course will be set in the often choppy waters of Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong, over distances of 200, 500, and 2000 Meters. After Club Crew World Championships, rookies and veterans alike will have chances to race at Baltimore, Lake Mercer, and several other regattas. Check back for schedule updates as the season progresses.
